- Moody Air Force Base, GA (Air Force Special Operations Command) intends to issue a contract solicitation for non-personal services for the operation of Moody AFB Library. Performance will take place at Moody AFB Library. Library operations include all management, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform general library services. Contractor will also provide various supplies, services, subscriptions, and lease plans as described in on a cost reimbursable basis (examples: SIRSI, Landmark, Valdosta Daily Times newspaper subscription, Junior Library Guild, Georgia Times newspaper subscription, 5% annual upgrade, carpet cleaning, McNaughton, and 3M Maintenance). The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA4830-06-R0014 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System is 519120. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8231 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000.00. The period of performance will be one (1) basic year plus four (4) option years. The performance start date is 1 OCT 06. The total contract period will not exceed five (5) years. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Award will be made using Price-Performance Tradeoff in accordance with FAR Part 15. The evaluation factors will be past performance and price. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 May 2006 and will be available to view and download on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.fbo.gov/. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MAILED. Be sure to check the solicitation after issuance to verify the correct proposal response date. All amendments will be posted on the FBO website as well the date and time for the pre-proposal site visit.
