Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a contract for the ALQ-157 A (V)1 with BAE Systems, Pomona California on a sole source basis for the following efforts: (1) purchase of AN/ALQ-157 Infared Counter Measure (ICM) systems, and (2) AN/ALQ-157 Vane kits. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to BAE Systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. BAE Systems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the ALQ-157 (V)1 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
