- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm-Fixed price contract with Motorola, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr, Columbia, MD 21046, for a Seven Channel 380-400Mhz Intellirepeter to interface with the existing Centrcom Elite, (4) 40 W or higher Consulate Base Stations, (1) Base Station 10 W or higher RF output, (40) Portable Radios XTS Series, (8) multiunit chargers, Option for up to 80 additional radios and 16 additional chargers, and associated technical documents. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier, as they are the original equipment manufacturer and the data is proprietary. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
