The paragraph Due Date and Submission of Proposals of the solicitation is changed as follows: The proposal, including original and two copies, shall be submitted in a sealed envelope via international courier on or before Thursday, May 11, 2006, 15:00 hours local time, marked Proposal SGE500-06-R-1039 for the attention of Mr. Tahir Siddiq, Contract Specialist, Tel: (++49) 69 7535-3332 or 3300, to the following location: American Consulate General Regional Procurement Support Office Giessener Strasse 30 60435 Frankfurt am Main, Germany Note: Offerors shall submit their Price Proposal separately from the rest of their proposal, e.g., Technical Proposal (including past performance etc.), as the Price Proposal will be evaluated independently. B. The following answers to the questions posed by potential offerors are provided: Question 1: Regarding the subject tender for 75 EA Vehicles to be delivered to Karachi, Pakistan, does the Buy American Act apply? Answer 1: The Buy American Act does not apply for the subject requirement. Question 2: Is China an acceptable country of origin for this procurement? Answer 2: The solicitation does not specify a country of origin. The vehicles must meet the minimum specifications set forth in Section 2.0, Description/Specifications of the subject solicitation. C. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-APR-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
