Description
The Forest Service requires 399 Tons of Magnesium Chloride dust abatement to be spread on approximately 30.9 miles of Forest Service road on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi and Custer Counties, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a performance-based commercial item written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Project is to be completed as 2 sub-projects with a minimum of one day between sub-projects. Target delivery date is mid-June. The actual delivery date is dependent upon road and weather conditions. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, June 5, 2006. The solicitation will be available on approximately May 15, 2006, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered.
