Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to responsible quoter for the provision of Dental Assistant services. This service will be performed on inmates who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Medical Detention Center, 535 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, California. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor shall provide Dental Assistant Services consistent with community standards. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year is 1560, one (1) hour sessions. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be available on or about May 15, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations, Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 12, 2006. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The web-site for registration is www.ccr.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for all the services are 621210. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote.
