Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of sixteen (16) Radio Frequency (RF) Peak Power Meters, Boonton part number 4500B-01, NSN 6625-01-537-2708 and thirty six (36) Peak Power Sensors, Boonton part number 56318, NSN 6625-01-465-0926, from Boonton Electronics Corporation, Parsippany, NJ. Boonton Electronics is the original manufacturer and only known source. The meters and sensors are required for on-site maintenance, fault, isolation systems certification of the Airport Surveillance Radar 11 (ASR-11) to provide fault isolation below the level provided by built-in test fault diagnostics incorporated in the system. The FAA does not have specifications or drawings. The contractor must have access to the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) specifications and drawings. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from the OEM. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This market survey shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these items. Responders to this market survey may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittal.
