Description
This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service -Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NY Harbor VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209, has a requirement recondition 32 existing low voltage air circuit breakers at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center. The vendor shall provide all labor, material, parts, supplies and travel. Only offers from those firms who are knowledgeable of the requirements of OSHA Regulations OSHA 29 1910.269(l)(6)(iii) and 1910.132(d)(1), regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment for workers exposed to the hazards of electric arcs, and that they will comply with those requirements. Vendors need to be knowledgeable of the requirements of NFPA 70E Part II regarding electrical Safety Related Work Practices, and that the personnel selected for this work have been trained and are qualified in accordance with those NFPA 70E requirements. Vendors shall certify that the personnel selected for this work are knowledgeable and experienced in the servicing and repair of similar type switchgear breakers. Period of performance will be from will be from the date of award through September 30, 2006. This is a Firm-Fixed price contract. NAICS code 811310, size $6.0M applies.
