Description
Aerial Application Synopsis-Solicitation The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBS at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Aerial Application of herbicide of Velpar ULW. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) F1TEAH6082A200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 115112. This is a small business set-aside. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for CLIN 0001, aerial application, estimate 3,500 acres. CLIN 0002, herbicide, Velpar ULW, estimate of 15,000 pounds. Aerial applications are to be done on weekends. Estimates at this point are 3000 to 4000 acres. 1.2 CONTRACTOR AERIAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS 1.2.1 Aerial Applicator License and Certification All Aerial Applicators shall hold a current Florida Commercial Use Pesticide Applicator?s license and Aerial category; the alternate requirement is that all applicators hold DoD Aerial Applicator certification. A copy of the license shall be submitted with offer. 1.2.2 Experience in Aerial Application The Contractor?s Aerial Applicator and Helicopter Manager shall have a minimum of 3 years experience in aerial application. The Contractor shall provide a description of this experience and Current Contract numbers/references with contact phone numbers shall be submitted with offer. See Statement of Work.
