Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information, included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation issued by The U.S. Arm y and Aviation and Missile Command, on behalf of the Product Manager for USA TMDE Activity (USATA). This requirement is for relocation of Model 89-130 Enclosed Calibration Range (box calibrator), serial number 8147, from the Armed Forces Radiobiology Rese arch Institute (AFRRI), Bethesda, MD, to the Shepherd facility in San Fernando, CA for refurbishment, then to U.S. Army Radiation Standards Laboratory (RSL), Redstone Arsenal, AL. This acquisition is sole source to J.L. Shepherd and Associates, 1010 Ar royo Avenue, San Fernando, CA 91340-1822. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. Requests for a copy of the Statement of Work can be made via email to dawn.taylor@us.army.mil. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00 pm CDT, 15 May 2006.
