?FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY DAY? National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston, TX, is hereby soliciting firms for attendance at the ?FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY DAY? for Construction Services, Architect and Engineering Services and Inspection Services. Construction Services include: General Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Roofing, etc? Architect and Engineering Services include: Architectural, Soils Engineering, Environmental, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP), Structural, Surveying, etc Facilities Development Industry Day will be held on May 22, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, at the Gilruth Recreation Center, Alamo Ballroom, at NASA-JSC. JSC?s Center Operations Directorate (COD) contracts between $20 - $40 million dollars annually for Construction, Architect/Engineering Services, and Inspections Services. The goals of Industry Day are to promote competition and seek out firms interested in performing prime or subcontract roles on-site for any required services that fall under any discipline associated with Construction Services and Architect & Engineer Services; to share the vision and key elements of the Center Operations Directorate; to inform firms about JSC's Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements and Delivery Order process; and to introduce the Procurement and Technical teams. Facilities Development Industry Day is open to all firms; both companies that have performed work at JSC and those that have not performed work and are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities. All parties interested are encouraged to attend this highly informative informational session sponsored by JSC. You are requested to RSVP by 3:00 p.m. CST on May 15, 2006, by e-mail to elijah.j.williams@nasa.gov or by phone, at 281-244-1638. Seating is limited to 3 attendees per company. The RSVP should include the following information: 1) If using e-mail, please use the following subject line: "Facilities Development Industry Day RSVP." 2) Point of Contact's name, company and phone number. 3) Names of all attendees attending from your respective company 4) Any perceived impediments or obstacles that your firm believes are deterrents for competing for work at JSC and/or any roadblocks or difficulties that have been experienced in pursuing opportunities at JSC. DIRECTIONS: Directions to the NASA-JSC Gilruth Recreation Center are as follows: >From Bay Area Blvd. Heading Eastbound: Turn right on Space Center Blvd. and go 2.0 miles. The Gilruth entrance is the second entrance on the right. >From NASA Road 1 Heading Eastbound: Turn left on Space Center Blvd. and go 0.8 miles. The Gilruth entrance is the second entrance on the left. PLEASE NOTE: No solicitation exists at this time. If and when a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
