Description

Project Title & Location: Suisun Bay Channel & Pinole Shoal Channel Maintenance Dredging, Contra Costa County, California. The work consists of maintenance dredging of the Suisun Bay Channel and Pinole Shoal channel. Approximately 137,000 cubic yards (including 38,900 CY of 1 foot allowable paid over-depth) of material in the Suisun Bay channel and 88,000 cubic yard(including 52,500 CY of 1 foot allowable paid over-depth) of material in the Pinole Shoal channel shall be removed to provide a project authorized depth, -35 feet plus 1 foot allowable paid over-depth plus 1 foot allowabl e nonpaid over-depth, and disposing of the dredged materials in the designated ocean disposal site at SF- 16 and SF-10. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standa rd for this NAICS code is $18.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 51.2%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 8.8%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.3%, HUBZone Small Bus iness: 3.1%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 1.5%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for download approximately May 12, 2006. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition w ill be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS.
