- Description
- Description: The project consists of the construction of the Big Beaver Bridge on Shineberger Creek Road No. 1079. This project involves the removal of an existing 40? span by 18? wide Hamilton E-Z temporary portable bridge and the replacement with a new 44? span, single lane Timber Glue Laminated stringer and deck bridge. Improvements consist of but are not limited to armoring the banks with riprap, precast concrete abutments, embankment and excavation of the roadway approaches, and road surfacing. The project is located on the Dillon Ranger District of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, approximately 10 miles southeast of Lima in Beaverhead County, Montana (Section 2, T 15 S., R 7 W.). Work is estimated to begin on July 14, 2006, with a 60 calendar day completion time. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Pre-Bid meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 5, 2006, and all interested parties shall meet at the job site at 10:00 a.m. The solicitation package will be available for Quoters approximately April 10, 2006.
