Description
The NATO Air Command and Control Management Agency (NACMA) has been requested by Allied Command Transformation to assist in the preparation of a Capability Package (CP) on Deployable Ground Based Sensors for Air C2 Surveillance and Identification. In order to acquire factual elements useful for the CP preparation, NACMA is offering the opportunity for sensors manufactures to present their current products to establish the available state of the art. This fact-finding mission is intended only to support the production of the CP, which will be developed without prejudice to any subsequent procurement process to be decided at the proper time. The planning and NATO CP production activity in hand is focused on the urgent requirement to provide NATO with Deployable Early Warning/Longer Range Air Defense Radars, and Deployable Passive Sensors with similar and complementary surveillance capabilities, for allocation to the Deployable ACCS Component. To aid this planning activity, and given that it supports an urgent requirement, the fact finding to establish current product lines and the state of the art will have a particular interest in what is proved and available in the market now, with little or no development, and, broadly, the capabilities, procurement times, deployability and environmental parameters of representative sensors. So as to maintain the necessary progress in the CP generation, NACMA hopes to complete this preliminary fact finding within the next 2 months. If a sensors manufacturer wishes to make a presentation, the firm should contact the NATO official below to arrange a suitable date and time: Mr. Zenon Kraszewski NATO Air Command Control System Management Agency (NACMA) Planning Architecture Division (PAD) Deployable ACCS Component Steering Branch (DSB) B-1110 Brussels Boulevard Leopold III, Building Z, Room E-338 Commercial phone: +32 2 707 8235 / Fax: +32 2 707 8777 IVSN: 232 - 8235 / CRONOS: NATO HQ Mailbox NACMA (attn: Zenon Kraszewski ) Internet: zkraszewski@nacma.nato.int
