- This Modification is being issued to extend the respones date to April 7, 2006. Responses are to be sent via E-mail to: Larry_Bannister@ymp.gov on/or before April 7, 2006. Bechtel SAIC Company, LLC (BSC) is soliciting expressions of interest and requesting information on supply of concrete transit mix trucks to support the operation of a new central mix batch plant facility. The concrete transit mix trucks will be stationed at the batch plant near the ESF approximately 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas. Various options can be proposed with the replies from potential vendors including but not limited to the following: Minimum 2 vehicles with the possibility of additions at a later date. Rear discharge, rotating drum vehicles with a capacity of 8 to 10 cubic yards. Vehicles equipped with the concrete washout recovery system for environmental compliance. Vehicles to be equipped to meet or exceed driver safety and health protection requirements during all functions of operation, in-transit, concrete batch or delivery and washout operations. Minimum 325-hp diesel engine drive motors Vehicles to be painted white in color for sun reflecting protection. Vehicles will be operating in remote desert conditions and need to be equipped to work in this type environment. Vehicles to be equipped with 2 fixed discharge chutes and minimum 4 removable chutes. New vehicles with warranties to provide service on breakdown and repairs. Initial 2 vehicles to be delivered to site by end of September, 2006. Respondent is required to provide the following information: Budgetary information on the following types of lease agreements. 1. Lease agreement for a specified performance period with no additional options. 2. Lease agreement with an option to buy. 3. Lease agreement with operators and maintenance personnel included. 4. Lease agreement with a not to exceed value covering a specified performance period with renewal options. 5. Minimum length of original lease duration and minimum length of extension duration. This request for interest is not a solicitation for Proposal and providing requested information will not guarantee an award of Contract.
