- Contractor to provide Catholic Priest Services as listed herein, in accordance with Department Of Veterans Affairs, Handbook 1111.2 in order to support the VA Medical Center Spokane WA (VAMC), 4815 N Assembly St., Spokane, WA 99205 Services include but are not limited to conducting Saturday Mass and religious holiday services, performing last rites, taking confessions, and providing spiritual counseling as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: Each Catholic Priest (s) who will potentially provide services under this contract must meet the following criteria: a) Must be a U.S. citizen. b) Must be an ordained clergy person. c) Must have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university, plus a Bachelor of Divinity Degree (or equivalent). d) Must have at least 3 years of full time clergy experience after ordination. e) Must have an ecclesiastical endorsement from the officially recognized national endorsing body of their religious community. f) Must be in good standing as a regularly-ordained clergyperson of said religious community for the 12-month period prior to the above endorsement.
