Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT906076A100; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-08 and Defense DCN 20060321. If two (2) or more responsible and technically acceptable small businesses respond, this acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside; if not, it will be unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 1730. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3559. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001: Qty, 1 EA, Aircraft Tire Bead Breaker. REGENT MFG INC Model 9323-020 or equal. Must have a 60,000 lbs breaking capacity. Rim size range of 12 inches to 40 inches. Tire width capacity up to 28 inches. Tire breaker opening of 2 inches to 30.5 inches. Power required is 220, 3 phase, 60 hertz. Standard features and documentation included: Two (2) hydraulic cylinder with 60,000 lbs capacity and applies equal pressure on the full diameter of the tire. Electric powered pumping unit. Frame hydraulically elevates to wheel size, no lifting of heavy wheel assemblies. Adjustable spider segments, no lifting of heavy adapter rings, bias and radial tire compatible. Spider segment adjustment tool. Skydrol resistant yellow paint. Operation and maintenance manuals. Certificate of conformance. Load test reports. Commercial packaging.
