Description
Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating award of a sole source purchase order to Freewave Technologies, Inc, 1880 South Flatiron Court, Boulder, CO 80301. Dealers are encouraged to respond. The solicitation is for the of four (4) P-501X005 ? 1.350-1.390 GHz spread spectrum board level transceivers, board level, RS232/RS485, 6-30 volts, with right angle MCX female connectors. For military use. Straight, non-locking, 10 pin connectors, bottom mounted. Delivery is due five days after award or by 14 April 2006 whichever is later. The solicitation is issued with this synopsis. The closing date of the solicitation will be 10 April 2006. The RFQ is posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ! package will be accepted. An email request to smithkl@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation (3) and ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 4:00 p.m. on 10 April 2006 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to comp ete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
