- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center intends to issue a solicitation and award a requirements type contract, with a base year and four (one year) option periods for the installation and purchase of refrigeration plant systems. The refrigeration plant systems will replace the existing systems onboard the 378 WHEC, 270 WMEC and 210 WMEC Coast Guard Cutters. The requirement consists of installation of the refrigeration plants at various Coast Guard Cutter locations (will be identified in the solicitation); refrigeration plant; manuals; drawings; installation specifications; on-site training; installation reports; test plan; start up services; spare parts kit and quality control plan. Due to the number of deliverables estimated quantities will be identified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about June 27, 2005. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check FedBizopps on a regular basis for the solicitation and any amendments issued. Contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). To register in CCR go to www.bpn.gov. See number note 1. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-JUN-2005).
