- THIS PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS FOR NSN 2040-01-506-5518,MODIFICATION KIT, MARINE HARDWARE AND HULL, JUNIPER ELBOW (97537) PART NUMBER JE-538-MK-WTKIT,OR MACHALT538-167-7379216 ASSY A. ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE IS AN INDEFINATE QUANTITY CONTRACT (IQC), FOR AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL QUANTITY OF 1,190 EA. ITEMS TO BE SHIPPED TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN ESTABLISHED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM QUANTITY LIMITS ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS. THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT CONTAINS AN OPTION TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT PERIOD ONE OR MORE TIMES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. THE TOTAL DURATION (BASE PLUS OPTION YEARS) SHALL NOT EXCEED 5 YEARS. PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS UNRESTRICTED. THE SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS 500 EMPLOYEES. THIS ACQUISITION IS FOR SUPPLIES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS COMPLETE, UNRESTRICTIVE TECHNICAL DATA, THEREFORE, THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND CONTRACT WITH ONLY APPROVED SOURCES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AND OFFER WHICH SHALL BE CONSIDERED. WHILE PRICE MAY BE A SIGNIFICANT FACTOR IN THE EVALUATION OF OFFERS, THE FINAL AWARD DECISION WILL BE BASED UPON A COMBINATION OF PRICE, DELIVERY, PAST PERFORMANCE AND OTHER EVALUATION FACTORS AS DESCRIBED IN THE SOLICITATION.
