Description

Diamond Lake Viewpoint Construction on the Diamond Lake Ranger District, approximately 80 miles east of Roseburg, OR. The construction of a new viewpoint off of Highway 138, is part of the enhancement program of the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. Construction includes a new paved access road and parking area, picnic pads and appurtenances. Work consists of construction staking, clearing & grubbing, excavating and compacting fill, placement of aggregate and riprap, asphalt paving and striping, installation of government furnished toilet buildings and interpretive structures, placing colored stamped concrete, and construction of short access trails. The project completion date is September 1, 2007; This is a Request For Proposals; in addition to price proposals Offerors are required to complete a Questionnaire; Detailed Technical Proposals are not required; Technical proposal elements include equipment capability, work sequencing, and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include technical approach, equipment capability, and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; The project magnitude is in the range between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available; however, full size plans are available upon request
