Description: The United States Army Communications-Electronic Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a New Work Modification of contract W15P7T-05-C-P030 on a sole source basis under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only O ne Responsible Source, to Innovative Systems & Technologies Corporation (INSYTE). The basic contract was for the development of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) technologies aimed at reaching a Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) of 7 for Joint Ta ctical Radio System (JTRS) Cluster 5 (Man-Pack, Hand-Held, and Small Form Fit Ground Domain) Software Defined Radio (SDR) commodities. The purpose of this modification is to partition the critical building blocks developed in Phase 1 for Integrated Circui t (IC) implementation in an advanced Silicon Germanium Bipolar Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (BiCMOS) process. This will be achieved by moving the contract into Phases 2 and 3. This effort for Phase 2 and 3 is for development of novel circuit des ign of other functions, integration of these circuits into ICs, and testing of the chips.
