Description

Wastewater Treatment Facilities Remove and Replace Sewerage Lagoons MAA Site Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110: Water and Sewer Line and related Structures Construction, The Small Busin ess Size Standard is $31.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The FSC Code is Z294. The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All questions should be directed to the Contract Special ist Mr. Otse A. All bids are due 14 June 2006, 1:00 P.M. PST at wh ich time the bid opening will occur. ALL BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROCUREMENT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, EVALUATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. This Solicitation will be available on or about 15 May 200 6. WORK CONSISTS OF upgrading the existing wastewater treatment plant to include rehabilitation of existing sewage lagoons and construction of additional evaporation ponds. This work will also include site improvements, fencing, miscellaneous piping, de molition and removal of system features, and slope protection. THIS IS A 100% 8(A) SET-ASIDE COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. Firms participating in this procurement must be 8(a) certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Please note that there are spe cial instructions pertaining to hand delivered bids. These instructions can be viewed in Section 00100 of the advertised solicitation. An important notice to all potential offerors: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, has implemented a new p rocedure for posting solicitations. On 15 February 2006, the Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) system will no longer be used to post solicitations.
