Description

The Government intends to award a Fixed Priced type Purchase Order for services to superflood Dry Dock No. 2 at two different intervals. The superflooding is located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. The first superflood will occur between 05 July through 07 July 2006. The subsequent superflood will take place within 45 days of the first superflood for undocking. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Solicitation will be available electronically on or about 15 May 2006 at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cite. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
