- Description
- The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate and award on a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisitions procedures to The Williams Groups of Davidson, LLC, 209 Delburg, Ste 105, Davidson, NC. The requirement consists of the following: 1. The Contractor period of performance shall be seven months from the date of award. 2. The Contractor shall have knowledge of the national ACGME accreditation processes, including Program Information Forms. 3. The Contractor shall have knowledge of the following topics: Criteria by which GME Programs are evaluated for accreditation. Requirements for documentation (Program Information Forms) for the GME Program accreditation reviews. Types of educational activities and topics that ACGME requires to be covered (i.e.; Grand Rounds, ACGME topics such as health disparities, cost effectiveness, health policy, ethics, etc.) Topics for evaluation of fellows, mentors, program directors, and of types of questions required to carry out the evaluations. Appropriate recruitment strategies to enhance quality of clinical fellows attracted to the NIH GME Programs. 4. The Contractor shall have the knowledge and familiarity with needed ACGME documentation and changes to such documentation (residency agreements, recruitment policies, promotion and dismissal policies). 5. The Contractor shall have familiarity with issues related to Clinical Fellows (examples: pay equity; impact of outside activity regulations on moonlighting, etc.). 6. The Contractor shall have the knowledge of and ability to reach out to medical centers to enhance recruitment. 7. The Contractor shall provide a contractor capable of carrying out the following: Coordination and assistance with documentation required for ACGME accreditation. Program evaluation. Coordination of educational activities for GME-accredited programs. Design of new programs in collaboration with the sponsors. 8. The Contractor shall coordinate timely internal reviews of NIH ACGME programs. 9. The Contractor shall prepare programs for national ACGME review. 10. The Contractor shall provide assistance with Program Information Forms. 11. The Contractor shall schedule monthly GMEC meetings; Set agenda with Chair; review minutes and approve them for distribution. 12. The Contractor shall coordinate educational activities to meet common curricular needs and invite speakers for the August grand rounds. 13. The Contractor shall advise program directors of needed documentation and changes to such documentation (residency agreements, recruitment policies, promotion, and dismissal policies). It is the Government?s belief that these requirements may only be met by The Williams Group of Davidson LLC. This is not a formal solicitation; however, concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Sources demonstrating the capability to accomplish the above shall supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform. Information furnished shall include enough material to perform a proper evaluation. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation results.
