- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY FOR PLANNING PURPOSES. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION DRAWING PACKAGE AVAILABLE. This is a request for information only as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain information on commercially available tower site space for lease. The Communications Squadron on Mountain Home Air Force Base has towers in place that cover an 80-mile span over our three ranges (War Eagle, Bennett Mnt and Shaeffer Butte. These towers are on elevations reaching over 1000 feet. The government requires tower space and some equipment to provide communication coverage for the Air Force Base and ranges. The following information is the exact requirements and detentions of the space needed and any equipment needed to lease.
