Description

The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), a bureau of the Department of the Interior, announces a standard competition on administrative/clerical commercial functions in our Washington, DC Region 9 Headquarters Office and offices within a reasonable commuting distance. Government personnel currently perform these functions in Arlington, VA, Washington, DC, and the nearby town of Laurel, MD. As required by OMB Circular A-76, we will compare the cost of the Government's most efficient organization to private sector offers. The projected end date for the competition is 12 months from the date of this announcement. The NAICS code is 56110. The Department of Interior Competitive Sourcing Official is P. Lynn Scarlett, Assistant Secretary, Policy, Management and Budget. The FWS Competitive Sourcing Official is Denise Sheehan, Assistant Director - Budget, Planning and Human Resources.
