Description
Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has entered into a Basic Ordering Agreement with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integrated Incorporated, 65 Spit Brook Road, Nashua NH, 03061 for a maximum ceiling amount of $7,350,,000.00. The BOA covers a three-year period with two one-year options. The effective contract date is 3 May 2005. This BOA supports the following efforts: repair, modification, upgrade, or new spare production, engineering and logistics services for EP-3E and P-3(X) derivative aircraft ALD-9 and ALD-10 mission avionics systems and subsystems. Additionally data in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List will be required. All support will be in accordance with a Statement of Work. The job orders issued against this BOA will be primarily for the support of the EP-3E and P-3(X) derivative aircraft. These programs call for a coordinated effort to support the land based reconnaissance aircraft of the Navy. Procurements under the BOA will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is for the class of orders that may be issued by NSWC Crane under the BOA for a one-year period. Individual job orders issued by NSWC Crane will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
