This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. INTRODUCTION The purpose of this request is to provide Naval Air Station Kingsville Fire Department with a modern and reliable Public Address System. 1.1 BACKGROUND 1.1.1 The vendor will/shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to furnish and install Public Address System as outlined in their quote. 1.2 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE 1.2.1 None noted 1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE 1.3.1 Equipment and installation shall be the product of a manufacturer with documented experience in the design and installation of Audio Paging Systems 1.3.2 Electrical devices installed shall be UL listed. Installed wiring system shall bear UL classification insignia certifying compliance with the National Electrical Code 2005 edition. 1.4 REFERECNES 1.4.1 Upon request, the vendor will/shall provide the locations and owner of two similar Audio Paging Systems, installed by the vendor.
