- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for the following brand name items or the commercially available equivalent: PXI Instrument Modules: Amplifier Module (Qty. 2) Pickering Part Number: 41-650-001 Key Amplifier Module Specifications: Must have five amplifier channels with up to 60 Volts pk-pk Output. Selectable gains from 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 with 1% Gain Accuracy. Bandwidth of at least 1 MHz with an output slew rate of at least 23V/microsecond. Must have D-Type Connector output for easy connectivity. Must have National Instruments (NI) LabView Software Drivers for compatibility with existing equipment. Power Supply Module (Qty. 2) Pickering Part Number: 41-742-001 Key Power Supply Module Specifications: Must have two isolated outputs capable of 0 to 48 VDC, up to 2A, and 60 Watts. Must have a programmable current limit with voltage and current protection. Must have an at least 16-Bit Read Back of Output Voltage and Current. Must have at least 500V Channel to Channel Isolation. Must have a typical Rise Time specification of no more than 14 ms. Must have a voltage setting resolution of at least 12 bits. Must have a voltage accuracy of 0.5% of setting plus or minus 50 mV. Must have AC Power input contained within module with no external parts. Must have NI LabView Software Drivers for compatibility with existing equipment. Switch Matrix Module (Qty. 4) Pickering Part Number: 40-517-002 Key Switch Matrix Module Specifications: Must have at least 2 Amp maximum switching current. Must be capable of switching 250 VAC with 60 watt maximum power. Must use gold plated contact electromechanical 2-pole relays. Must have an operating speed of less than 3 ms. Must have at least a 2 year warranty. Must have a D-Type connector output for easy connectivity. Must have NI LabView Software Drivers for compatibility with existing equipment. Programmable Resistor Module (Qty. 2) Pickering Part Number: 40-295-021-3/24 Key Programmable Resistor Module Specifications: Must provide fully isolated variable resistors. Must provide up to 2000 value changes per second. Must provide resistance values from 0 ohms to 16 Mohms. Must have an accuracy of plus or minus 0.5% from 0 to 1 Mohm. Must have an accuracy of plus or minus 5% for greater than 1 Mohm. Must have a D-Type connector output for easy connectivity. Must have NI LabView Software Drivers for compatibility with existing equipment. Cables: Cable (Qty. 4) CABLE 50 WAY D F/UNTERM 1M Pickering Part Number: 40-972-050-1M Cable (Qty. 2) CABLE 25 WAY D F/UNTERM 1M Pickering Part Number: 40-972-025-1M Cable (Qty. 1) CABLE 37 WAY D F/UNTERM 1M Pickering Part Number: 40-972-037-1M The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-09. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334515 and 500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to KSC is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4:00 local time on 5-15-2006 to Kennedy Space center, Procurement Office Mail Code: OP-OS, Attn: T. Freeland, KSC, FL 32899 and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2006), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, which is incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-4 (SEPT 2005), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. Addenda to FAR 52.212-4 are as follows: Government acceptance is deemed to occur constructively on the 30th day after the Contractor delivers the supplies or performs the services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, unless there is a disagreement over quantity, quality, or Contractor compliance with a contract provision. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
