Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Hotel Accommodations and Hotel services located in the geographic area of Baltimore, Maryland. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefit Administration, Office of Employee Development and Training will be participating in the Introduction to Leadership conference. The breakdown for hotel accommodations are as follows; Sunday,06/04/28 rooms, Monday, 06/05/28 rooms, Tuesday, 06/06/29 rooms, Wednesday, 06/07/29 rooms, Thursday, 06/08/28 rooms, Friday, 06/09/26 rooms, Saturday, 06/10/26 rooms, Sunday, 06/11/29 rooms, Monday, 06/12/29 rooms, Tuesday, 06/13/32 rooms, Wednesday, 06/14/28 rooms, Thursday, 06/15/28 rooms and Friday, 06/16/check out. Based on the breakdown described, the total rooms requested are 340 each. All rooms must be individual /private sleeping rooms with toilet facilities smoke free and at government per diem rate for Baltimore. Payments for rooms shall be the sole responsibility of each participant, to include no show fees. Additional requirements for the hotel suites are less than 6 block away from the Veterans Benefits Academy, 31 Hopkins Plaza, G-7, Fallon Federal Building, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202, suites with full dining facilities, needs to have a banquet facility available on 6/15/06, provide shuttle service, on site fitness center and waiver for room cancellation policy. The specific instructions contained herein are intended to serve as guideline for the preparation of the quotation. In developing the quotation, the Contractor shall comply with the requirements stated in the description. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD WITHOUT DISCUSSIONS. Therefore, each contractor is urged to examine this request for quote in its entirety and to ensure that their quote contains all necessary information, provides all required documentation, and is complete in all aspects. All submissions of quotations must be electronically used the email address the previous sentence. The electronic copies shall be compatible with Microsoft Office 2000. All electronic quotations are due May 16, 2006 by 02:00PM, Eastern Standard Time. Electronic copies not delivered by the time and date specified may be eliminated from further consideration. The Contractor shall certify that all files and electronic media have been checked for and are free of viruses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
