- RFQs will be accepted until Friday, 05 May 2006, at 15:00:00 Eastern time. This is Amendment 06 to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a samll business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. Refer to the following supplemental questions and answers: 1) The color requested is "Desert Camouflage," however, should this read "Desert Tan" or are Desert Camouflage "covers" required with the helmets? A- The helmets should read Desert Tan, therefore, no cover is required. The Department of State requires the following items, Brand Name (RBR PASGT NIJ Level III-A) or Equal: Line Item 001: Ballistic Combat Helmets Level III-A, Color: Desert Tan; Size Medium, 1425 each Line Item 002: Ballistic Combat Helmets Level III-A, Color: Desert Tan; Size Large, 1425 each Line Item 003: Shipping to U.S. Despatch Agency, New York- Crating and Container, Inc., 1200 Fuller Road, Linden, NJ 07036 Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. CCR Requirement - Company must be registed on Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted should include shipping and handling. ** To have a quote considered for award, all vendors must provide manufacturer part # and extended specifications of the exact model being proposed for all line items. No exceptions! Failure to provide this information will result in a non-responsive quote and removal from award consideration.
