***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in FedBizOpps is May 9, 2006**** Sub-item 1.1 The purpose of this work is for the Contractor to survey by motor vehicle various watersheds assigned by the Government to identify and locate sites that contain one or more of the species listed. Species to be inventoried may vary by Administrative Unit, as designated on the contract. All roads inventoried shall be documented by Administrative Unit, road number and mile post. Sub-item 1.2 This task requires documentation for Sub-items 1.1 and 2.1 of site locations by watershed, elevation, aspect, road number, and milepost where target species are present within 100 feet of roads. The Contractor is required to mark sites on the ground. UTM coordinates shall be obtained and provided to the Government. Sub-item 1.3 Requires the Contractor to collect seed that is available from sites that have been identified in the Watershed Inventory for the target species, as designated on the contract. Collection of seed will require the packaging, labeling, cleaning, and storage of the seed prior to delivery to the Government. Project is located on the Willamette National Forest, Middle Fork Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon. This project will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity with a base year and the possibility of three option years. Estimated start work date is June 5, 2006.
