Description

Notice of Intent to award as a sole source requirement to The Latham Hotel Georgetown Hotel to provide conference meeting space, light refreshments and audio visual requirements. This proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.203. A solicitation has not been prepared for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, however, due to mission requirements and time deadlines, proposals will only be considered for future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the required item should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman no later than 12:00 PM (noon) EST, May 8, 2006 at robert.sieferman@dhs.gov. Only email responses will be accepted.
