Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Entrust, Inc. 8300 Greensboro Drive McLean, VA 22102. This is a sole source requirement to Entrust, Inc. to integrate their new ?Entelligence Secure Boundary and Compliance? Software Bundle, which includes the Entrust Entelligence Content Control Server, the Entrust Entelligence Webmail Center and the Entrust Entelligence Messaging Server into existing Cyber Security Experimentation Architecture. This software compliments the existing Entrust software already used in the architecture. Entrust, Inc will also provide support for the integration and maintenance of the software. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The sole source is conducted under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation will result from this announcement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, only notifications received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respond NLT Friday May 19, 2006 5pm EST.
