Description

The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN6) Central Acquisition Service has a requirement to add four (4) additional sleep beds to the existing sleep lab located at the VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. The Medical Center currently has a four (4) bed sleep lab with equipment provided by Viasys Healthcare. All sleep beds must interface and be compatible with the existing Viasys system. This announcement constitutes a sources sought notice. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties capable of meeting this requirement must submit their information in writing via email or fax to Melissa Garrick, Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, Building 4 Room 207, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 no later than 3:00pm local time May 12, 2006. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with a sole source procurement with Viasys Healthcare the only known source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
