Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of medical patient transportation services for the VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Medical transportation services include ambulatory (taxi), wheelchair van, and litter transport for VA beneficiaries. Contract term will be for a base period of one year effective August 1, 2006 with option to renew 2 additional one-year periods. This requirement has been set-aside for 100% small business participation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated for both technical merit and price reasonableness in accordance with the evaluation procedures of the solicitation. Request for Proposals will be available on or about May 4, 2006. Due date for receipt of offers is June 2, 2006, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is July 15, 2006.
