Description

Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Tyndall AFB Contracting Squadron, 501 Illinois Ave, Ste 5 Bldg 647, Tyndall AFB, FL, 32403-5526 Description This project consists of providing dry-dock type maintenance of Air Force vessel MR-65-2110, to include but not be limited to all maintenance, inspections, replacement items, and other related activities shall comply with applicable marine industry standards, governing regulations, publications, guidelines, and Coast Guard standards for U.S. Watercraft. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work or to define the scope of work. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 336612 with a small business size standard of 1000 people. The proposed contract listed is restricted small businesses with preference given to Woman Owned Small Business and HUBZone firms. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be electronically issued on or about 5 May 2006. PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires all contractors to have a DUNS number.
