Description

The item to be procured is a Head, Linear Actuating Cylinder, NSN: 3040-01-042-9245, Part Number: 12007871. The proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Requirements are 400 eac h, Head, Linear Actuating Cylinder. Item is a gear machined from steel, 4130, with internal and external teeth and an size of 6.812 inces long X 4.34 inches outside diameter. Black Oxide, Class 1 or 2, Alkaline-Chromate process for finish is required. F OB is Destination. For use on the M198 Towed Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 30 May 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
