Description
THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-207D2, Patuxent River, MD intends to hold an INDUSTRY DAY Conference. The goal of the conference will be to gather potential industry and feedback in regards to the Commercial Air Services Program(s) and the capabilities and various types of support for Fleet training missions. The services are required to train fleet units to achieve and maintain combat readiness by using practice/drill and measuring the results; evaluate/test to develop equipment and tactical procedures for fleet users. Aircraft capabilities are, but not limited to, carrying of external pods for Electronic Warfare, target towing, chaff, etc. and internal military operations support (Air Intercept Control, Electronic Combat, Antisubmarine Air Control, RDT&E Electronic Combat, etc). Aircraft types: Low Performance Propeller Driven Capability, Business Class Jet Capability, High Subsonic Tactical Capability (mach 0.8 ? 0.95), Supersonic Capability (mach 1.3+), and potential future requirements. In addition to the aircraft capabilities and types depicted above, radar/radar warning receiver requirements, specific aircraft configuration, aircraft mission type performance requirements, and equipment specifications may be discussed. Contract type, quantities of items, contract duration, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code have not been determined, therefore these topics will not discussed during the Industry Day Conference. This information will be set forth and provided within a Request for Proposal. The tentative schedule for the conference is 21 June 2006 at the Holiday Inn, Solomons, Maryland, 410-326-6311, from 0900 to 1600 (Eastern Standard Time). Parties interested in attending the conference are encouraged to contact Ms. Theresa Boswell via e-mail theresa.boswell@navy.mil. An Alternate POC: Monica White, e-mail monica.white@navy.mil. All interested parties, please provide the following information: Organization name and address, primary Point of Contact (POC), phone/fax and e-mail of the primary POC. THE INDUSTRY DAY CONFERENCE IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT, NOR WILL THE GOVERNMENT PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED OR FOR ANY TRAVEL RELATED EXPENSES.
