- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Dental Services at Buckley AFB by Buckley AFB, CO. Required services are commercial, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall provide a facility and all management, supervision, labor hours, training, equipment and supplies necessary to perform Dental Services to include but not limited to: routine and specialty dental care. The contractor shall perform in accordance to the standards outlined in the Statement of Work. A Firm Fixed Price Performance Based service contract will result from the solicitation. Period of performance will begin on 1 October 2006 with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09, DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20060412. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621210. The small business size standard is $6,500,000 million. Solicitation Number FA2543-06-R-0006 will be issued as an RFP on or about 19 May 2006. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.eps.gov with an estimated closing date of 5 June 2006. No paper copies will be issued. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be a certified small business registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/ or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423 and all offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman (paragraph (c) of the clause reads, Mr. Michael D.
