- The Regional Contracting Office-SW is soliciting proposals for Unit Training, Specialized Training, and Role Players. The scope of this solicitation and resulting contracts is to utilize contractor provided facilities, personnel, and expertise to enhance the training environment of Marine Corps Personnel. The scope also includes specialized training such as evasive driving techniques, personal security detachment training, and convoy operations. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business under the NAICS code of 611699 with a size standard of $6 Million. The Government contemplates multiple awards under this solicitation, with a base year and four option years. The contract type will be a combination of fixed price and time and material. The cut-off date for questions pertaining to the solicitation is May 26th 2006; the response date is June 9th 2006. This is not a renewal of an existing contract. The solicitation and some of the attachments will be available for downloading immediately after the posting of this notice. The sample performance work statement (PWS) will be available in the near future. Interested parties may send an email to the contracting officer requesting direct distribution of the sample PWS, or download it when it is posted in NECO via amendment.
