Description

In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition of the Administrative Support Function (ASF) performed at the General Services Administration (GSA) in Region 7 (Greater Southwest Region). The effective start date of the streamlined cost competition study is May 5, 2006. Government personnel consisting of thirteen (13) FTEs and nine (9) contract workers represent the incumbent ASF provided. Geographical location of employees: Government: Fort Worth, TX ? 9; El Paso, TX ? 1; Little Rock, AR ? 1. Contract: Fort Worth, TX ? 5; Baton Rouge, LA ? 1; Houston, TX ? 1; Oklahoma City, OK ? 1; New Orleans, LA ? 1. The estimated work years will consist of a base year with four option years. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. The projected end date of this competition is September 15, 2006. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED, AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is J. Gregory Brennan, GSA, CSO; Agency Tender Official is George Prochaska, Deputy Regional Administrator, Greater Southwest Region; and the Contracting Officer is Judi Grossman, Greater Southwestern Region.
