Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the purchase of Infrared Radiometer Data Acquisition Systems (4 each). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and a Small Business Service-Disabled Veteran set-aside for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F1T0EB6104A100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334513, with a small business size standard or 500 employees. Please identify/confirm your business size in your response based upon this standard. The Infrared Radiometer Data Acquisition System (Quantity of 4 each) shall meet the following requirements: (a) DIGITIZE, TIME-TAG, DISPLAY AND RECORD TO AN MS-WINDOWS XP FORMATTED HARD DRIVE AN INFRARED RADIOMETER?S ELECTRICAL OUTPUT SIGNAL, (b) RADIOMETER ELECTRICAL SIGNAL: VOLTAGE SPAN + OR ? (PLUS OR MINUS) 10 VOLTS; FREQUENCY RESPONSE: DC TO 1 MHz, (c) TIME-TAG REQUIREMENTS: INPUT FORMAT: IRIG-B, UNIVERSAL TIME COORDINATED; (d) DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS: NUMBER CHANNELS: 8 CHANNELS SIMULTANEOUS; (e) RECORDING REQUIREMENTS: NUMBER CHANNELS: MINIMUM OF 16 CHANNELS SIMULTANEOUS, RECORDING TIME: MINIMUM OF FIVE HOURS, RECORDING MEDIUM: MS-WINDOWS XP BASED GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE (GUI); (f) POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGES FOR THIS EFFORT TO INCLUDE INFORMATION THAT IS PERTINENT AND SPECIFIC IN THE DESIGN OF INFRARED RADIOMETER DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEMS FOR TESTING. ANY OTHER SPECIFIC AND PERTINENT INFORMATION AS PERTAINS TO THIS PARTICULAR AREA OF THE DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM THAT WOULD ENHANCE THE GOVERNMENT?S CONSIDERATION AND EVALUATION OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ENCOURAGED AND SHOULD ALSO BE SUBMITTED.
