- DESC: OC-ALC/PKP DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AE1-109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032. Overhaul/Repair of Turbine Cases for TF33 Aircraft Engine. Item 0001 INPUT: NSN: 2840-00-799-7473RV P/N: 399065 and/or NSN: 2840-00-8568RV PN: 496859. OUTPUT: NSN: 2840-00-076-7769RV P/N: 737578. The contractor shall furnish all required labor, facilities, equipment, and all material, to accomplish overhaul and repair, packing, preservation, and packaging, and return to the Government (Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032), in a completely serviceable condition. The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and applicable to the technical orders identified in the solicitation. The contractual requirements will consist of a base year followed by four option years. Quantity Basic: 66 EA. OPT I: 17 EA, OPT II: 17 EA, OPT III: 17 EA, OPT IV: 17 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032 The G0009 reporting will be required for these items. This overhaul/repair is restricted to the qualified sources of Windsor Airmotive, East Granby, CT, Gentz Industries LLC, Warren MI, and Twin Manufacturing Company, South Windsor, CT. This item is a competitive, small business set-aside. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Requests for pre-award qualification requirements will be accepted. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Information for qualification requirements may be obtained from OC-ALC/BC Attn: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Dr, Ste 1AG85A, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3009. Solicitation will be posted on approximately 22 May 2006 and proposals will be requested June 2006. The anticipated award date is July 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or other firms interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the potential offerors (listed above) during the proposal development phase of the acquisition. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
