Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR SHUTTLE XPC COMPUTER SYSTEM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions regarding this RFQ: 1) Your bid states that the bid needs to be submitted on the web and you give a link that takes me to the list of open NASA bids. Can you please clarify? Bids can be emailed directly to the Contract Specialist at Maria.E.Perez@nasa.gov 2) The requirement (#1) as stated on the RFQ for the CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz with 800 MHz 478 pin 1 MB tray is being discontinued, can the requirement be substituted with an equivalent? We cannot specify equivalent parts. Our system will only work with Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz CPU, hyperthread, Intel chip set. No duo core CPU. No AMD CPU. 3) The requirement (#5) as stated on the RFQ for the Shuttle XPC SB61G2V4 is being discontinued, can this be substituted with an equivalent? We cannot specify equivalent parts. Our system will only work with Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz CPU, hyperthread, Intel chip set. No duo core CPU. No AMD CPU. 4) Are any optical devices, keyboards, or mice needed? No 5) The requirement (#4) as stated on the RFQ for the Ready/865G/FSB800/DDR400/Barebone System is being discontinued, can this be substituted with an equivalent? We cannot specify equivalent parts. Our system will only work with Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz CPU, hyperthread, Intel chip set. No duo core CPU. No AMD CPU. 6) Is this requirement for a Shuttle system or do you accept equivalent? This requirement is for a Shuttle system; an equivelent will not be accepted. 7) Where can I get a copy of the Bid/Solicitation http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/synopsis.cgi?acqid=119976 8) Will you require a CD-ROM/Burner/DVD installed in these Shuttle systems? No 9) Place of Performance: Where will these need to be shipped to? NASA-Ames Research Center, Receiving Station, Building 255, Moffett Field, CA 94035 The due date for receipt of offers is extended to May 8, 2006 by 2:00 PM, local time. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 1, 2006. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
