- SOURCES SOUGHT: The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California is currently seeking information regarding qualified small business sources capable of providing temporary portable latrine services for Beale Air Show 2006. Positive previous air show experience is a must. The following are required: 1. Contractor shall provide all equipment and personnel to deliver, maintain, and closely monitor portable latrines and hand wash stations for the duration of Beale Air Show 2006. 2. Contractor shall deliver all units listed in paragraph 3 between the days of 30 May 06 and 1 June 06. All units shall be delivered and staged for use by 5 pm PST on 1 June 06. Contractor shall be available to coordinate specific set up locations with the authorized Government representative at shortly before the time of delivery. 3. The contractor shall furnish the following equipment in accordance with paragraph 2: Standard portable latrines, qty 225 Two station sink, qty 30 ADA handicap portable latrine unit, qty 16 4. An attendant shall continually monitor and maintain the cleanliness of latrines & sinks, restock tissue products as necessary, and ensure serviceability of sinks from 8 am to 4 pm PST on 3 June 06 and 4 June 06. 5. The contractor shall ensure that a truck and driver are in place on Beale AFB to service latrines from 8 am to 4 pm PST on 3 June 06 and 4 June 06. 6. All units listed in paragraph 3 shall be removed by contractor between 5 June 06 and 6 June 06. Interested parties who believe they can meet requirements described in this notice are requested to submit a letter of interest stating that the requirements can be fulfilled. Responses must include the following: Name and address of firm; size of business; Cage Code; and whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), HUB-zone, disabled veteran- or woman-owned business. Brochures, drawings and specification data shall also be submitted for review. The applicable NAICS code is 562991. The size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $6.5M per year. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government reserves the right to consider a large business based upon responses to this sources sought request. If less than 2 small businesses favorably respond to this sources sought request by 12 pm PST on 9 May 06 the automatic small business set-aside will be disolved. If this happens, a full and open competition solicitation will be posted on FedBizOps on the morning of 10 May 06 with quotes due by noon 12 May 06.
