Description: The Senior Strategic and Conflict Planning Specialist (?the PSC?) will serve as a key member of the Planning Division within the Office of Military Affairs (DCHA/OMA/P). The overall objective will be to manage joint, parallel and coordinated planning, exercises and program development between USAID and the US military. The goal is to strengthen both DOD and USAID planning and operations through improved coordination and joint action between the two organizations in stability operations, reconstruction and transformational development and to support planning for the transition to democracy and to long-term development of countries in crisis, including assistance to develop, strengthen, or preserve democratic institutions and processes, revitalize basic infrastructure, and foster the peaceful resolution of conflict.
