Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of intent to conduct a commercial item acquisition. The solicitation, evaluation and award procedures of FAR 12, 13.106-1, 13.106-2 and 13.106-3 are to be used. The United States Coast Guard has a requirement of for 12 garbage macerators (Muffin Monster Model 30000, Part No. 30001-0012S with a model PC2220 controller to include emergency stop pushbutton and auto mode on/off control switch), Brand Name or Equal to included commercial warranty, parts, and provisioning technical documentation.. The garbage macerators will be installed in the scullery onboard the 210 WMEC cutters. Request for Proposal (RFP) HSCG40-06-R-40028 will be available for download from FEDBIZOPPS on or about 12 May 2006. The Government intends to award a requirements contract with a base year and four ? one year options, as a result of this competition. Delivery shall be required within six weeks from the date of each delivery order. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 333319 and the size standard is 500. Responses to this notice and questions shall be submitted to Kathy Brown (Kathryn.E.Brown@uscg.mil) via email only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in accordance with the solicitation, which if timely received, shall be considered by United States Coast Guard. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS for changes or amendments.
