Description

DESC: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLYTECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE WILL BECOME AVAILABLE ONCE THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED. NSN: 5999-01-383-2792, Part Number EA-PRF-2170A. The item to procure is a CONTACT BATTERY ASSEMBLY. FOB is DESTINATION. The Battery Contact Assembly is manufactured from the performance specification EA-PRF-2170A. The parts include a contact Molex connec tor, positive contact and cord that incorporates coiling with an extended length of approximately 122mm. This component is used on the CHEMICAL AGENT MOITOR (CAM)/IMPROVED CHEMICAL AGENT MONITOR (ICAM). Estimated issue date is 26 MAY 2006. This solicita tion will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hard-copies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as well any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your b id or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. **************************************************************** Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Small businesses not holding an Nuclear Regulatory (NRC) License are required to contact the ECBC-RI laboratory to perform required outgas testing. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ri a.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicit ation has been released to the internet.
